| We give space to expression and creativity --------------------------------------------------------------------- Chiamata alle Arti is a bi-monthly art-zine in PDF format, freely downladable from the italian graphic portal PSDRevolution. Contribution is free of charge, open to the artistic expressions of everyone: each two months the CAA staff suggest a different and stimulating theme for all artists that wants to be present on CAA pages with their artworks. The realization techniques are completely free, going from the digital to the traditional: all disciplines, commonly used to transmit a message in an artistic way, are accepted. Each and every author is free to express himself in the way he/she prefer: from the pencil to the ink, from writing to sculpture, even modelling the plastiline, from the illustration to the drawing, from photography to 2D and 3D graphic. Even the video can be accepted in a special project called CAA Labs. --------------------------------------------------------------------- See how to join us: [link] | See all issues: [link] --------------------------------------------------------------------- HISTORY --------------------------------------------------------------------- The first issue of CAA has been released on january 2004. The idea came to Sauro Pasquini ([link]) that, since the first issue, took care of it with huge passion. In 2005, when Sauro became one of the administrator of PSDRevolution, CAA became the portal art-zine. In 2007 CAA had a big increase in the management: a whole team of people, in love with the project, starts to work behind the scene of the art-zine, helping to raise its fame. Today the CAA Team is active in a very organized way, in order to let the CAA to grow and to explode also outside of the web. For the issue 23, Psiche, a restyling of the logo, introduced a restyling also of the format. CAA is released each two months and inside each issue, together with a nice selection of the best artworks, there are articles and interviews on authors and themes usually connected with the theme of the issue. There is also a laboratory about the video, open to all the moving arts: the CAA Labs ([link]). |
